My Beautiful ,Handsome, Sexy Lucky Poodle (3 momma misses you everyday)

by Momma Michelle
(New York)

Recently my baby, my Poodle had to be put down.

He was 12 years old.

For months he started drinking a lot more water and urinating more, the vet said it was most likely old age.

The week before my loyal poodle died we noticed he was very tired and weak and wasn't acting the same.

Three days before we put him down he started to vomit, he wasn't able to keep anything down.I took him to the Veterinary and prayed he was going to be OK.

The Vet took some blood and urine, and gave him fluids. he started to puke more and wasn't able to keep water down even tho he was so thirsty
and began to have diarrhea as well.

The next day my family and I got the worst call we could imagine.

My baby was diagnosed with advance diabetes dogs.

He would have a low chance of survival even with medicine and the vet said it would be best to put him down.

It is still very hard for me to accept he isn't here. We got him when I was about 9 and I am turning 21 now.

My birthday and Christmas wont be the same this year.

I miss him very much and i just wish i could have helped him sooner. if i would have read that diabetes was something many mini poodles can get I would have checked him out sooner, but my baby was strong and never showed any signs of pain or that he was sick.

I hope to see him one day but until then I keep his pictures and our memories with me.

I don't know if I will be able to have another doggie but if I do I will be a better mom hopefully and make sure other people I know get their doggies checked out.

Dog owners must make sure their pet is administered a vaccine for rabies each year (as the law requires) and to make sure they are on a leash when walked on the street.

! Whoever said you can't buy happiness forgot little puppies !
