Golden Retriever Poodle Mix

I personally recommended the Golden Retriever poodle mix because will be an excellent choice when you are trying to bring the right dog breed for your family

The name was created in 2000 by combining “Golden”, from Golden Retriever, and “doodle from Poodle

Poodle Hybrids have become increasingly popular and it is likely that the combination of Golden Retriever and Poodle has been duplicated by breeders in various countries at different times.

WHY ?

Poodles are extremely intelligent and gentle dogs.

They are great dogs for people with allergies as they shed very little.

By my opinion and knowledge the Poodle is the number one Hypoallergenic Dog. Of course they require some grooming but it is worthy.

The Golden Retriever , which is a little smaller than the Labrador is also a smart ,loyal very kind and very friendly and patience dog .

They are very easy to train and eager to please.Is usually breed to be a family companion dog.

They also play very well with children and they have a very loyal,loving and very patient temperament.

Some of this excelent poodle/golden retriever mix are breed for careers in service to humans as Guide Dogs, Theraphy Dogs and other types of Assistance Dogs.

Many people select a Goldendoodle just because they love Golden Retrievers, but they will prefer a dog that shed less hair and will not affect their allergies. But is good to know that not all poodle hybrids will exhibit the low shedding of a Standard poodle. We have to remember that this great companion dog is an Hybrid Dog that for sure will shed less than the Golden Retriever, but the degree of shedding can vary.

Because it is a Golden Retriever poodle mix purebreeds,varies in size,color and coat type.

Size is somewhere between that of the Poodle and the Golden Retriever parents that includes Standard Poodle, Medium and Miniature Here are more or less the average size of them.

Standard: 45 lbs/99 Kg or more at adulthood

Medium: 30-45 lbs/66-99 Kg at adulthood

Miniature: 15-30 lbs/33-66 Kg at adulthood

Just remember that the Goldendoodle is not a Pure Breed, it is an Hybrid Dog.

Until now it is not accepted for registration by mainstream registries or purebred dogs such as the American Kennel Club or the United Kennel Club.
